How mail-in longarm quilting works

Step by step

  1. Get a price with our Quick Cost Estimator. Pricing is 2.5¢ per square inch and includes thread, batting, needle, and return shipping.
  2. Place your order at ckquilting.com/customize. Choose your pattern, thread, and optional backing.
  3. Prepare and ship your quilt top using our prepare checklist (trim threads, mark the top with a safety pin, include your order number).
  4. Approve your preview. When your top arrives, we overlay your pattern and thread on a photo of your quilt and send it for approval before we quilt.
  5. We quilt and return. Turnaround is about 2 weeks after we receive your quilt. Holiday note: for quilts back by Christmas, mail them so we receive them by December 1.

What we need from you

  • Quilt top, pressed and ready
  • Backing (or buy ours) that is 4″ larger on all sides
  • Order number inside the package

That’s it. We take care of batting, thread, quilting, and return shipping.
